What scrabbleTracker is
scrabbleTracker is a digital scoresheet for in-person Scrabble. You play on a real board with real tiles; the app records what you played and what it scored, settles disputes by challenge, and keeps the games for later.
What it does
- Records every move as you play, computes the score (premiums, bingos, hooks), and shows the running total.
- Backs the rules you play. Pick from built-in rulesets (Casual Standard, International Tournament, North American Tournament, House Rules) or save your own; per-game so historical games keep their rules.
- Handles challenges the way your table plays them — points penalty, turn loss, or free.
- Looks up word definitions on tap when someone wants to know what KOBOLD actually means.
- Replays any past game move-by-move and remembers head-to-head records, top scores, and the longest word.
What it doesn’t do
- No play suggestions. It’s a recorder, not a solver. You and the table choose what to play.
- No matchmaking, no public exposure — it’s for your board, your people, your record.
Two surfaces
- The recorder — what you tap during the game.
- History and stats — what you look at afterwards.
